Looking to be a part of the latest movie adaptation of a bestselling novel, Charlize Theron is reportedly in talks to star in the upcoming movie based on Gillian Flynn's "Dark Places."
Published in 2010, the book deals with class issues in rural America, intense poverty, and the Satanic cult hysteria that swept the United States in the 1980s.
Recently, the 37-year-old actress was named as the lead in Seth MacFarlane's new Western comedy, "A Million Ways to Die in the West."
The movie is an homage to "Blazing Saddles" and follows a cowardly farmer who avoids a gunfight and is consequently left by his girlfriend. Later, he meets the wife of a notorious outlaw who offers to teach him to shoot. He sees an opportunity to win back his woman, but nevertheless begins to fall for his tutor.
