CBS’ “Two and a Half Men” may have started with Charlie Sheen, but it certainly didn’t end with him.
Although the actor has been very vocal about his desire to make a guest cameo on the show, he did not appear in the series’ final episode, which aired Thursday night (Feb. 19). The finale began by alluding to the fact that Charlie’s character, Charlie Harper, never actually died four years ago. However, in the last scene, a piano fell on someone who looked an awful lot like Charlie from behind. So, we think it’s safe to say, Charlie Harper is dead.
After he unceremoniously left “Two and a Half Men,” Charlie Sheen jumped into a new comedy called “Anger Management” on the FX Network. And now that the initial 100-episode contract is up, FX has decided not to renew the show, prompting a response from the always-talkative “Hot Shots” star.
Sheen declared, “I am beyond proud of what we accomplished over the course of 100 episodes of ‘Anger Management.’ We created something uniquely special with some of the most talented individuals I have ever had the privilege to work with. My sincere thanks to all for their unwavering love and support. Here’s to the next chapter.”
