On the heels of being named People's "Sexiest Man Alive," Channing Tatum happily accepted the title of "Movie Star of the Year" by covering the December 2012 issue of GQ magazine.
The 32-year-old actor looked handsome as he suited up for the Sebastian Kim shot spread while talking about everything from receiving celebrity career advice to accepting his role in "The Vow."
A few highlights from Mr. Tatum's interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to GQ!
On getting advice from his celebrity friends:
"Ahhh, I'm not gonna drop names, you know, very successful, smart actors. And they were like: 'Grind it. If you love it, grind it.' I did. And a lot of people who didn't grind it, it's not that they're not in a good place, but I'm in a better place."
On filming "White House Dawn:"
[I shoot everything] except for maybe a Javelin missile. But the president might get to shoot a missile, I'm not saying."
On taking up less action-packed movie roles:
"I did The Vow because I really love being in love."
