Sometimes in the movie industry, the establishment gives back to the people. And that’s just what happened at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Grant Ceremony, with plenty of star power to go around. He’s been dealing with everything from agressive paparazzi, to his wife’s desire for a swankier home, so when David Beckham returned to the field last night, it must have been a moment of clarity. Beck’s team the LA Galaxy played DC United last night and lost 1-0. If you’re internet savvy at all, you’re hip to the YouTube site. And one video has really stood out among its peers. It’s called “Chocolate Rain.” The composer of the silly song is named Tay Zonday, and he’s garnered quite a bit of attention for his gibberish stylings. Tony Almedia, who served as Lindsay Lohan’s bodyguard from 2002 to 2005, is tired of seeing his former employer badmouthed over her troubling behavior. The much anticipated new comedy, The Love Guru, marks the end of a self imposed break for Mike Myers that has been in effect since his Austin Powers series finished up. Joining Myers in his latest venture is Hollywood favorite Jessica Alba, who comes in fresh off of her latest blockbuster, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.
