Hollywood Pays Respects To Merv Griffin

When Merv Griffin passed away last week, we all lost someone very special.  Griffin was in innovator in the world of entertainment, and this past Friday, the who’s who of Hollywood gathered to honor him.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were among the throngs of celebs gathered at the Church of the Good Shepherd in Beverly Hills.  Also in attendance was Nancy Regan, Pat Sajak, Vanna White, and Alex Trebek.

The Canadian punk princess flew into Hong Kong on Friday, along with her rocker husband Deryck Whibley.  The pair took pictures and answered questions upon their arrival.

She’s still mourning the loss of her series The Simple Life, but it looks like Paris Hilton will be reprising her role as reality queen.  Sources say that the heiress will be appearing on Celebrity Big Brother in the UK.

She’s been offered 300,000 pounds, (US $595,591.16) to be on the Channel 4 program, making her the highest paid celebrity on the show thus far.
