Zanessa Charm MTV Movie Awards
While they opted not to do a Gold Carpet arrival at the 2008 MTV Movie Awards, Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens gave the paparazzi plenty of photo opportunities.
The High School Musical sweethearts looked so happy together at the Gibson Amphitheatre in Universal City, California last night. And Mr. Efron even walked away with the award for Breakthrough Performance for his role in Hairspray (Diddy and Lindsay Lohan presented the award).
Zac looked studly in a matching shiny blue jacket-and-pants suit with a classic white button-up shirt and his signature whispy brown hair and big smile.
And Vanessa wasn’t looking too shabby either, sporting a plunging neckline sea shell-patterned dress with a pair of beige high-heeled sandals.

Zanessa aka Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron did not walk the yellow carpet, but they were snapped together.
Vanessa wore a summery plunging neckline sea shell-patterned dress, and her beau, Zac wore a navy blue sheen suit and white shirt by Moschino Uomo.

Love her dress. It’s the Tiger Shell silk chiffon tank dress by Diane von Furstenberg. Zac’s iridescent navy blue suit (with red silk waistband detail) and white button down shirt are both Moschino off-runway pieces from the Fall 2008 collection.
These two sure know how to dress to complement each other.

i know people tend to take this awards show very casually or use it as an excuse to dress like a tart, but vanessa did neither and chose something pretty, feminine and yes, you could say conservative. but, she has great radar for style and even though she could have gone a much sexier route, i think she looked lovely. simple hair, make up and understated elegance with her dress. i’d like to see anyone’s grandma pull that dress off as beautifully as she did.

She looked demure, classy and lovely. She knew it was Zac’s night and dressed and carried herself in a way as not to draw attention to herself. She complemented him beautifully. Zac looked casual and cool. A great couple! They are a cut above the rest of young hollywood.
