Zac Efron Talks Success

For Hollywood’s rich and famous, part of the territory is having people hate you.  And High School Musical’s Zac Efron says that having naysayers has convinced him that he’s “made it” in show business.

While he’s melting hearts all over the world with his dreamy looks and boyish charm, some people would rather cast a shadow on the teenage heartthrob.

Zac told press, “I know, for instance, at my cousin’s school, there’s a club called the I Hate Zach Efron Club.  And I laughed hysterically when I heard that. I laughed because if there are people out there devoted enough to make a club that hates me, I’ve gotta be doing something right.”

Indeed he is.  Efron has just landed the lead role in a new big screen movie.  Seventeen is a film about a middle-aged man that needs to redo his life, and one day wakes up in the body of a seventeen-year-old high school senior, played by Zac.  There’s no release date yet, but it’ll surely be a big hit.
