When Will Joel Madden Pop The Question?

Good Charlotte front man Joel Madden is having a child with Nicole Richie.  And according to him, the two will be engaged very soon.

Earlier this week, the goth rocker appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly, and he hinted that he’d be taking a knee in the near future.

Regis let the cat out of the bag when he asked Joel about the status of his relationship with the Simple Life babe.  “You’re going to present her, maybe, with… A little ring, or something?”

And Madden’s reply made evident his intentions.  He told Philbin, “I was hoping it would be a surprise, but now...”

Joel had better get moving, though.  His sweetheart is scheduled to do some hard time this September.
