Wedding Bells For Jennifer Hudson?
Coming off of a whirlwind year, rumor has it that Jennifer Hudson is reportedly set to marry this spring.
The former ‘American Idol’ contestant turned singer-actress, who is about to start recording her first album, pledged to marry maintenance engineer James Peyton when she made it big, and now James is taking her up on her promise.
A source told the National Enquirer magazine: “James didn’t want to let Jennifer slip away.”
“After she won the Oscar, James reminded her that she promised him they would get married as soon as she got her singing career off the ground.”
While at first this sounds like a joke… it’s not. The 25-year-old Hudson has been dating James for 8 years, making the rumors a definite possibility.
Hudson, who’s due to begin filming new drama “Winged Creatures,” said that James is the one for her because he makes her feel secure.
In her own words, Jennifer stated, “The difference is, why would I pick somebody new when it’s like, ‘You don’t know me. You just see the Jennifer Hudson that’s in ‘Dreamgirls’ or the Jennifer Hudson from ‘American Idol.’”
