Victoria Beckham Puts Family First

With all the hoopla surrounding the Beckham Pilgrimage to America, Victoria Beckham isn’t one to lose her perspective. It looks like she has been favoring her option to write a book, rather than the grueling TV filming schedule in order to support her man.

Posh will be writing a book on the subject of interior design. It seems appropriate, being that she is preparing her Los Angeles mansion for her family to occupy. “Victoria’s last book was a pretty good seller and the new one looks like a must for those who aspire to decorate their home in an extravagant footballer’s wives’ style”, said Britain’s Daily Express.

The upcoming book will be autobiographical, with pictures of the home before and after it was made “Posh.” It will include a step-by-step guide of how to accomplish the look and feel of a true soccer stud’s home.

Meanwhile, Posh has reportedly put filming her six-episode NBC docu-reality series on hold because her husband has been recalled from their new home in Los Angeles to play for the English national soccer team.

“She hasn’t pulled out but has decided to put David and her children first,” a source close to Beckham told People. “Victoria was supposed to go back to L.A. this week and next week but has canceled. What that means is that out of a very tight four or five-week filming schedule, half of it is lost.”

“Victoria is always happy to fulfill her obligations and she’ll fly out at the end of June to do another week’s filming. But that will only give the network about half an hour’s footage on top of the half hour they shot last month,” said the Daily Mirror.

“Vic is fiercely loyal to David - the whole move to Los Angeles was for him and his career in the first place. She was in tears when she heard he’d been recalled to the England squad as she knew that was his ultimate dream. She had a real laugh during the initial filming of the series last month… But there is absolutely no way she’d have sacrificed being there [for David]... regardless of how much it would help her profile in the U.S.”

As a result of all the back-and-forth antics, NBC is considering the future of Posh’s reality show.
