Verne Troyer’s NYE Pursuit of Kelly Osbourne
With all of the pomp and circumstance going on with New Year’s Eve, it sounds like Verne Troyer developed a crush on a fellow party-goer.
According to a report, the “Austin Powers” actor was celebrating his 40th birthday [as well as New Year’s] at Mahiki in London when Kelly Osbourne caught his eye.
An eyewitness revealed that Troyer sent Miss Osbourne (who was partying with her boyfriend Luke Worrall) several tequila shots, though Kelly sent them back untouched.
The source told press, “It was hilarious. Kelly was with her boyfriend but that didn’t stop Verne. Despite his best efforts, Kelly just wasn’t interested.”
Despite being turned down, Troyer reportedly had a great evening, spending around $6,000 on alcohol by the time the night was over. “He was great fun - life and soul of the party. He left yelling ‘Happy New Year’ to everybody.”
