Vanessa Minnillo’s NYC Press Tour
Busy promoting her new movie, Vanessa Minnillo was spotted out in New York City on Tuesday (August 26) - making stops at MTV’s TRL studios followed by a Tide launch party later in the evening.
During her numerous outings, the former Miss Teen USA spoke to press about her role in her upcoming film “Disaster Movie”, as well as her relationship with Nick Lachey.
In “Disaster Movie”, Minnillo plays a cheerleader that can’t get her boyfriend to say “I love you.” “He just can’t drop the L-word, and what a girl wants more than anything in the world is for their boyfriend to say ‘I love you,’"she says.
Minnillo admits that she doesn’t have that type of problem in her real life relationship with her singer beau Nick Lachey. “The L-word is not thrown around by men as easily as it is by women – but I didn’t say it first! He’s very loving. We’re very open and vocal,” Minnillo tells.
Although the pair may be on the same page with their love life, they don’t see eye to eye on their exercise routines. “We used to work out together, but we stopped,” says Minnillo, laughing. “We’re doing different things. And the guy runs forever! Like, I swear, he’s running 11 miles a day. I can’t run. That’s the one thing I can’t do, because I feel like the further I jog away from my house, the further I have to jog back!”
