Usher Gets Married After All

It was looking dreary for Tameka Foster and R&B singer Usher when plans for their Hamptons wedding were abruptly canceled.  But in the end, the happy couple made their vows in Atlanta.

Apparently the reason they didn’t get married as scheduled had to do with a medical emergency.  Foster had a “pregnancy scare” that prevented them from sticking to their original plans.

"I was pushing myself way too hard.  But I am fine and the baby is fine,” Foster told press.  Once she was given a clean bill of health, the pair continued with their aspiration to be wed.

This time, the scene was Usher’s lawyer’s office.  It was a much lower-key ceremony, devoid of Robin Thicke’s singing, and chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s culinary styling.  But at the end of the day, Usher and Tameka are now properly wed, and with a baby on the way, it’s just in time.
