Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and Suri: Together In NYC
Spotted out yesterday all by her lonesome, this morning’s outing in the Big Apple was a different story for Katie Holmes.
The Batman Begins actress was spotted on a walk around the Upper East side of Manhattan with the company of her 17-month-old daughter Suri. The two young ladies even briefly met up with papa Cruise, before venturing out of sight.
In good news coming out of the TomKat camp, reports are telling that Katie has been taking steps to mend her relationship with her father Martin , starting with inviting him to Germany a few weeks back.
The trouble between Katie and Martin is said to lie in his devotion to Catholicism, while has daughter his turned to Scientology.
A family friend recently told Star magazine: “Marty came back raving about how Katie was so happy. He was delighted to connect with his family. He’s never been more enthusiastic about spending time with Tom and Katie.”

Here’s what I can’t understand. I keep reading about how devote the parents of Katie Holmes are but I also read that the father is a divorce lawyer? How can you be a devout Catholic and a divorce lawyer at the same time???
