Tiger Woods Welcomes a Son!
Back in June of 2007 Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren became the proud parents of daughter Sam Alexis, and yesterday they welcomed their second child, a son named Charlie Axel Woods.
The #1 golfer and his beautiful wife have been elated about the new baby’s arrival with Tiger posting a statement on his website- “Both Charlie and Elin are doing great and we want to thank everyone for their sincere best wishes and kind thoughts.”
In fact it was Charlie’s impending arrival, along with knee surgery recuperation, that kept Tiger off the Buick Open. He previously told press, “A lot depends on the baby, which is due pretty soon. That takes precedence over anything I do golf-wise. But I must admit I am also excited about returning to competition.”
Speaking from experience, he added, “Elin, Sam and I are very excited for the new baby to arrive, although that’s when the real lack of sleep begins.”
