The McCartney-Mills Divorce Settlement Drama

A divorce settlement is finally within sight for Paul McCartney and Heather Mills. The recent legal progress comes as a surprise due to the couple’s recent hot tempers and the question of splitting up McCartney’s multi-billion dollar fortune.

Verbal confrontations have been witnessed since the two’s rocky decline and a bitter legal entanglement has been expected.

In reference to their divorce, McCartney allegedly said “I just can’t wait until I never have to see your face again.” Mills sharply retorted “You’ll never get rid of me.” However, legal developments have forced Mills to reevaluate her position.

”Only last week Mills was seeking $25,000 a day to ‘get by’, however she appears to have cut her demands after taking a recent battering in the High Court, which has facilitated recent developments.”

A tabloid source claimed, “she will receive $61 million cash, plus McCartney’s $10 million home in St John’s Wood and she will give up sole custody of their daughter Beatrice, 3, but will not let herself be gagged.  The gag order is in reference to her claim that McCartney allegedly was physically and emotionally abusive.”

Meanwhile, TMZ is reporting that Paul has reportedly convinced Heather to accept a $56 million settlement , including an $8 million house, to end their bitter divorce battle and her bid for sole custody of their kid.

Despite the drama, an end seems to be near.  “The key issue throughout the divorce has been joint custody claims.” Although it certainly hasn’t been a happy split, it seems that Paul McCartney and Heather Mills are on their way to finding a resolution.
