The Dirt on Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston

Courtney Cox kisses Jennifer Aniston?  That’s right.  All of you out there who waited through ten long seasons of Friends and never saw Monica and Rachel kiss, here’s your chance.

Longtime Friends Courtney Cox and Jennifer Aniston are going to get up close and personal in the finale of F/X’s tabloid tale, ”Dirt,” airing this Tuesday (March 27th), at 10 p.m.

Harrod (Aniston) is a lesbian with a partner and children. She knows Spiller (Cox), who is childless and married to her job, from their early career, when they used to work together as stringers for the Post. Even though the women are still friendly, Spiller is threatened by Harrod - especially when she finds her seated in the office of Dirt’s publisher.

Harrod tries to assure Spiller that she’s not after her job, but with sales down slightly at the magazine, rumors are flying that Spiller is about to be let go.

“People should tune into to see Jennifer Aniston for every reason but the kiss,” says Cox. “We do kiss on the show, but it’s not a big deal. I think you’ve seen a kiss like this on Friends”

In fact, we have, between Aniston and girl-gone-shoplifting Winona Ryder, who played something of a stalker during an episode in the show¹s seventh season.

While Cox’s co-executive producer Matthew Carnahan, thinks the kiss is “kind of hot,” he did not take it too far, stating, “If people are looking for hot girl-on-girl action, they are going to be disappointed.”

Meanwhile, Courtney was simply happy to be reunited with her former Friend’s co-star.

“She’s also one of my closest friends so it was great to work together again,” Cox says.
