Taylor Swift Takes Over Times Square

She’s had a lot to be thankful for in 2008, and last night Taylor Swift was in New York City to bid farewell to the passing year and usher in 2009.

The “Should’ve Said No” songstress braved the single-digit Times Square temperature to be part of the action, doing her best to stay warm in a black wool overcoat.

Though, during her performance (a medley of her hits including “Change,” “Picture to Burn,” “Forever and Always,” and “LoveStory”, Taylor shed her outerwear to reveal a glittery Stephen Burrows dress.

And when the clock struck midnight, and the big ball dropped to begin the New Year, Taylor was enjoying the company of the Jonas Brothers (including her ex-boyfriend Joe), Lionel Richie, Demi Lovato, and Ryan Seacrest as part of Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve.
