Taylor Swift Rocks ACM Awards

She’s the biggest thing to hit country music in recent memory. And after her performance at last night’s Academy of Country Music Awards, Taylor Swift has cemented herself in to the hearts and minds of music fans everywhere.

As Miss Swift began her live performance of “Should’ve Said No” in an understated hoodie and jeans, we knew something special was coming. Heaving her guitar to the side, she took the microphone with the stage presence of a seasoned pro and rocked out the first chorus.

To spice things up a bit, two backup dancers came out and yanked off the “Teardrops on My Guitar” singer’s casual ensemble to reveal a black minidress.

Then, as the grand finale, Taylor stepped to a platform on the stage where raindrops literally fell from the ceiling, drenching her as she sang the final chorus.

Just as some icing on the cake, Swift also took home the award for Best New Female Vocalist. Not a bad night for the young superstar!
