Taylor Swift and Katie Couric: NYC Retail Romp
Pairing up for a Big Apple retail romp, country darling Taylor Swift was spotted out shopping with nightly news host Katie Couric at Jeffrey store in New York City on Friday afternoon (January 9).
Miss Swift is currently staying in New York City ahead of her big appearance in New York City tomorrow night (January 10), during which time she’ll become the youngest performer to ever take the hit show’s stage.
Asked if she knew about the youthful honor, Taylor told press, “I was just told that. I can’t believe it. That never occurred to me that that statistic was there. It feels like everything in the last couple of months was a dream and I’m just walking around in it. I can’t believe it.”
The SNL host happens to be “How I Met Your Mother” star Neil Patrick Harris, who said of his musical partner, “Taylor Swift is lovely and — contrary to popular belief — is pretty tall. She’s, like, 5’7 or 5’8’’ and then wears heels and is 7’2”. Next to her I look like Ryan Seacrest.”
