Tara Reid: Rehab Ain’t Free!
The world breathed a collective sigh of relief when Tara Reid checked into the Promises Rehabilitation Center earlier this month. And despite claims to the contrary, her stay has been just like everyone else’s.
According to FOX Pop Tarts, there have been rumors floating around the gossip mill (thanks to Star magazine) that the “American Pie” actress has received special treatment from the rehab clinic, including a complementary stay and the forgoing of her belongings being searched.
In response, a rep from Promises told Tarts, “Promises is committed to keeping the identity of clients private to the best of our ability and Promises does not comments on its fees. All client belongings are searched, as are all incoming packages. Rooms are subject to search at random and all clients are treated the same and expected to follow the same set of rules with no exceptions.”
The Promises rep also demanded a retraction from Star for suggesting that the clinic searched Hollywood for a celebrity who needs rehab in order to gain publicity.
