Spencer Pratt Talks About Stephanie’s DUI
Spencer Pratt admits that he was shocked about his sister Stephanie, who was arrested on October 18 for a DUI, but says it’s easy to get caught up in the wild Hollywood lifesyle.
“I mean, I’ve had problems with drinking in Hollywood, but who doesn’t?” said Pratt.
The 26-year-old added that it’s hard to see if there is something wrong when you’re having fun and club promoters and “giving you unlimited high-end alcohol.”
Spencer can understand how people get caught up. “If you’re out at a club every night having drinks, then you’re drinking every night of the week,” he says. “First, it starts off, ‘Oh, I just love this dancing and having fun with friends.’ But it’s like, even though you’re just having a couple of cocktails, [it adds up].”
Also interesting this week is that it is his sister-in-law, Holly Montag, is confronted on the upcoming episode of “The Hills” about her drinking.
Spencer says that he and Heidi had to take a stand, saying, “Tune in — you’ll see it when it clicks, when we’re like, ‘Yo, it’s time to help Holly.’”
