Spelling Family Feud Quashed By Baby

The beautiful Tori Spelling and loving husband, Dean McDermott, are happy to announce the healthy birth of Liam Aaron McDermott.  The baby couldn’t come at a better time for the family as Tori and her estranged mother have been feuding.

The mother-daughter relationship has been under strain since the famous producer Aaron Spelling, husband and father to the duo, died.  The real trouble came when a skit performed on Tori’s VH1 series So NoTORIous truly hit a nerve with her mother and has left the family torn apart.

However, it now seems there is light at the end of the tunnel, as Tori’s brother, Randy, informed tabloid sources of why things were starting to work again.  “I think it’s a culmination of things. I think when you’re family, you have your ups and downs, but hopefully you all come back together,” he said. “And I’m sure the baby just makes that happen quicker.”

Randy went even further to claim how far Tori and her mother Candy are willing to go to patch things up.  “My sister and my mom have been communicating for the past few weeks. They are going to be there for each other… My mom is having a grandchild, and it puts things into perspective.  No matter what, we are family, and they’re resolving things and getting back together. They are communicating, and it makes both of them happy. It’s definitely a mutual thing. You always have that motherly instinct. People can fight, but they love each other.”

Candy reiterated some of Randy’s thoughts when she told a tabloid source: “Words can’t describe the joy and elation I feel at this truly happy event.  I am looking forward to doting on my new little grandson and all the memorable fun that comes with it.”

Perhaps the healing connection for mother and daughter goes even deeper than there just being a new baby in the family.  It seems this new addition is a reminder of someone else who is still close.  Tori illustrated this point when she told Access Hollywood, “We are going to name his middle name Aaron’s name.  I feel like I have been given such a gift having this little baby inside of me that it’s kind of a part of him, so I know that he will be up there wishing us well and celebrating with us and this little one inside me.”

Things seem to be on the rise for the Spelling/McDermott family and hopefully mother and daughter can keep the quarrelling to a minimum until this new family can get on the right track.
