Spears, Federline Divorce Details

Straight out of rehab, Britney Spears has found herself rapt in the closing of numerous legal proceedings. Meanwhile, her mother Lynne, and little sis, Jamie Lynn, have been helping the troubled singer out by staying at K-Fed’s pad.

First and foremost, Britney and Kevin’s divorce settlement has been nearing its conclusion. While many early reports rumored the number to be around $19 million, it seems as though Federline isn’t getting anywhere near that.

"The real story… put a decimal point between the 1 and the 9 and then reduce it significantly. As for why K-Fed isn’t in a position to bargain… Britney’s disso-queen lawyer, Laura Wasser, drafted an airtight prenup before the marriage. Kevin will end up pocketing around a mil,” TMZ recently reported.

Also, it has been agreed upon that there will be equally-shared custody of their two sons for now, but Britney will get primary custody in the long run. That is, if she can hold everything together.

Right now, it’s too early to tell, but Post Chronicle sources gave a bright outlook by reporting that Britney “has had an utter personality change since going into rehab. She has become nice as well as reasonable.”

Meanwhile, Britney’s younger sister, Jamie Lynn, and her mother Lynne have been staying at Kevin’ s house helping to look after the children while Britney gets her life back in order. The source added: “Her time in rehab showed Britney that Kevin loves his kids and is a good dad.”

Last, but not least, numerous overseas sources are reporting that “Britney Spears has been granted a High Court injunction which prevents the British press from printing allegations about her recent stay (in rehab).”

Not stopping there, a statement from Britney’s London-based legal team read that the singer “intends to challenge false allegations that have already been published”.

With everything going on around her, Britney has done well so far to keep a low profile. Will it continue?
