Sophie Monk Seeks Retail Therapy

As previously reported by the Gossip Girls, Benji Madden and Sophie Monk have called off their engagement and broken up.  And from the looks of the Australian singer/model, she’s taking it pretty hard.

Monk was spotted by the paparazzi yesterday walking around the Grove Shopping Mall in Los Angeles, California looking a bit distraught.

Sophie was joined by a friend as she sought out some serious retail therapy.  She wore a black cardigan sweater, blue t-shirt and some black pants along with a pair of UGG boots.

According to Monk’s agent, she and Madden called it quits after a year and a half of good times.  “Sophie and Benji have officially split. The decision was mutual and they remain amicable.”
