Solange Knowles Says Yes to Safe Sex
Campaigning to help keep young people safe from STD’s, Solange Knowles was spotted hamming it up at the Body Shop & MTV Networks’ “Say Yes, Yes, Yes to Safe Sex” event today (April 14).
The soul/pop songstress looked cute and casual in a white sweater teamed with a pair of distressed jeans and teal heels as she arrived at Meet at the Apartment in New York City.
In related news, Miss Knowles has vehemently denied that she’s been dropped from her record label following poor sales of her latest album (she only sold 138,000 copies).
Her father, Matthew Knowles, told press, “Our joint venture with Music World and Interscope/Geffen/A&M is very much in place with Solange. Her remarkable achievements speak for themselves.”
An Interscope rep added, “Contrary to rumors floating through the internet over the last few days, Solange remains a part of the Interscope Geffen A&M family.”
