“Slumdog Millionaire” Pulls Top DGA Awards Prize
It’s been a big year for the drama-romance “Slumdog Millionaire” and it only got bigger by winning a huge honor given by the Directors Guild of America.
Freida Pinto showed up looking dazzling in a one shoulder metallic dress matched with sexy open toe pumps, while her fellow costar Dev Patel looked sharp in a tuxedo style suit.
The two were on-hand to support Danny Boyle, who won the night’s big honor on Saturday (January 31) for directing “Slumdog Millionaire”.
The critically heralded flick has already been nominated for 10 Academy Awards including Best Picture and Best Director. The movie has had a big winning streak as of late, pulling in four Golden Globes with the cast also winning the Outstanding Performance award from the Screen Actors Guild.
