Simon Cowell Narrowly Avoids Attack

Being an international media mogul can have its downfalls, and last night Simon Cowell was almost attacked by an overly-enthusiastic fan.

The “American Idol” icon was on his way out of the “Britain’s Got Talent” studios in London, England when a female fan lunged at him and tried to hold onto him.

An eyewitness told press, “All the girls in the crowd got excited when Simon wound his car window down to wave at them, but one went too far and actually tried to stop him from leaving.”

And it was so bad that security guards had to get involved.  “Security had to pull her away from his vehicle and hold her against the ground to let Simon out safely.”
