Sienna Miller Sues Over Topless Photos
Sienna Miller is fighting back against two British newspapers and a photo agency for publishing the scandalous photos of her gallivanting around topless with married Brothers and Sisters actor Balthazar Getty.
Miller and the law firm of Carter-Ruck are aiming at the photo agency Big Pictures and News International, which publishes the News of the World and Sun newspapers for publishing the scantily clad pictures and running a series of stories on the couple while they were vacationing in the Almalfi coast.
Miller’s legal team confirmed the actress accuses them of breach of privacy and has filed suit in London’s High Court.
In December, Miller, 26, won a judgment of $75,000 against The Sun and The News of the World for publishing “highly intrusive” photos of her while she was filming a nude scene for the movie Hippie Hippie Shake. It’s believed to be the largest fine ever levied for a photographic invasion of privacy in the U.K.
As for Getty, 33, he recently announced that he and Rosetta, his wife and mother of his four children, are officially separated.
