Shia LaBeouf: Up and Around After Accident
He’s been laid up most of the past week due to an automobile accident last weekend in which he injured his left hand. But yesterday afternoon Shia LaBeouf was back on his feet.
The “Transformers” stud was spotted outside Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California having a smoke break and showing off his extensive cast.
And according to director Michael Bay, the rumor that Shia was drunk at the time of his accident are inaccurate. “He was not drunk. He was drinking hours and hours before. His passenger and Transformers co-star Isabel Lucas (not pictured) walked away with minor injuries, as did the passengers in the other car.”
He even hopes to write LaBeouf’s injury into the script of “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.” “I spoke to him yesterday in the hospital. His two fingers are pretty mashed, but we’re figuring out a way to shoot around it, kind of write it in the story.”
