Shia LaBeouf and Carey Mulligan Work on “Wall Street 2”

Showing up with his scruffy facial hair intact, Shia LaBeouf emerged from his trailer clean-shaven as he readied for filming in New York City on Wednesday (September 9).

The “Transformers” hunk strolled past paparazzi as he reported for duty on the set of “Wall Street 2” - with real-life girlfriend/co-star Carey Mulligan also on-hand to work on the sequel to the 80’s classic.

Directed by Oliver Stone, a plot synopsis of “Wall Street 2” via IMDB reads: “As the global economy teeters on the brink of disaster, a young Wall Street trader partners with disgraced former Wall Street corporate raider Gordon Gekko on a two-tiered mission: To alert the financial community to the coming doom, and to find out who was responsible for the death of the young trader’s mentor.”

The film also stars Michael Douglas, Susan Sarandon and Frank Langella, with the release date scheduled for April 23, 2010.
