Shakira’s Romantic Uruguay Getaway
Staying far away from the winter weather that much of the world is experiencing, Shakira was spotted enjoying a sunny holiday with her boyfriend Antonio De La Rua yesterday (December 18).
The “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress looked blissful as she frolicked with a few adorable puppies while on vacation in Punta Del Este, Uruguay, sporting a black tank top, black trousers, brown boots, and a brown leather hat.
And it sounds like Shakira will be taking a flight north to Washington DC come January 20th, as she’s been invited to perform at President Elect Barack Obama’s inaugural celebration.
An avid supporter of Obama, Shakira received praise from the President Elect back when he was campaigning. He told press, “It’s an honor for me to receive support from someone with so much talent, from an artist who has been so generous.”
