Shakira’s Big Night at the ALMA Awards

She’s an international superstar of epic proportions and last night Shakira was all about celebrating her Latina heritage at the 2008 American Latino Media Arts Awards.

Hosted by “Desperate Housewives” babe Eva Longoria, the 2008 ALMA Awards honored the achievements of Latin Americans in the media.

The “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress maintained her penchant for a fabulous wardrobe with a gorgeous sleeveless black belted dress, complete with studded platform high-heels.

And she wasn’t just there to smile and look pretty- Shakira was one of the night’s honorees as she was the recipient of the Humanitarian Award for her charity work.
