Shakira Says No to Nudity
Some actresses don’t mind showing some skin in order to garner a big film role. But International singing sensation Shakira isn’t one of them.
The “Hips Don’t Lie” songstress reportedly turned down a starring role in the movie “Love in the Time of Cholera” because it would’ve required some on-screen nudity.
Shakira told press, “There was nudity involved, so I said no. My parents wouldn’t like it at all. So I said thank you, but no thank you.”
And it’s not like passing on the role hurt the 30-year-old singer’s career. Just a few days ago she was working the late night circuit, performing and appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno.

I think it may be part of the negociation process. I mean, it’s only a matter of time before she will accept a similar proposition, but for a bigger amount and for a bigger role. That’s my 2 cents anyways.
