Selena Gomez: Carlin Cutie

She’s been eating up the opportunities to see new fashion at the Mercedes-Benz Los Angeles Fashion Week lately. And last night (October 17), Selena Gomez was spotted attending yet another high-profile event.

The “Wizards of Waverly Place” babe smiled for the paparazzi as she (and her mother Mandy Gomez) arrived at the grand opening for the Carlin Collection hosted by Octavio Carlin at Carlin Atelier in Los Angeles.

In related news, Selena recently revealed to press that she has a bit of a crush on “Transformers” stud Shia LaBeouf, himself a Disney Channel alum.

“I’ve had a crush on him ever since he was on ‘Even Stevens.’ It’s very far-fetched, but I would love to have Shia on ‘Wizards.’”

She also admitted that she’d love to carry on the “High School Musical” torch with the next cast. “I think that would be fun. I love singing and dancing. I would have to say I’d love to play Sharpay because I just know Ashley Tisdale is not that mean girl in real life and it’s fun to see her play something she’s not.”
