Scarlett Johansson Says NO to Porn
Recent rumors have claimed that Scarlett Johansson was considering taking on the role of Jenna Jameson in the upcoming movie Heartbreak, a film based upon an autobiography written by the porn queen in 2004. In the autobiography, How to Make Love Like a Porn Star, Jenna discusses her success and rise to international fame as part of the adult film business.
And while fans were eager to see Scarlett in this role, it just isn’t gonna happen. “Scarlett has never seen a script nor been approached about this project,” says a rep for the actress. “She also has no interest in playing this role.”
Jenna’s focus on Scarlett as the right actress to portray her on the big screen comes from seeing her performance when nominated for a Golden Globe back in the 2003 for Lost in Translation. Although Jenna has only briefly met Scarlett, you never would have guessed it as Jenna explained to reporters, “"I love her. She’s amazing. She’s smart, she’s funny. ... She’s stunning.”
“I remember thinking to myself, this girl has such a sexuality without even really trying to be sexy,” Jameson said. “I was like, ‘This girl could play me.’”
With Jameson emphasizing the need to have a strong cast in the upcoming film, she’ll obviously be disappointed with Scarlett’s decision. A large hurdle for casting this movie is how far it pushes the boundaries of what’s acceptable. When asked if the movie needed to be explicit, her response was “It has to be. Not because we want to draw male fans. Because I want to tell the true story.”
