Scarlett Johansson: Quality Time with Mom

No matter how famous they get, celebrities always love to chill with their moms once in a while. And yesterday, Scarlett Johansson spent some quality time with her mother Melanie Sloan.

The “Lost in Translation” actress was spotted leaving her fiancée Ryan Reynolds’ pad Sunday morning (August 10) and heading back to her condo where she met up with her mom.

From there, they hit up a Tai massage parlor in Los Feliz before grabbing some lunch and shopping in Beverly Hills. They even visited an open house while they were in the area.

As for the recent reports regarding Scarlett’s contact with Barack Obama (she said she’d exchanged emails with the Presidential Candidate), Miss Johansson is calling ‘foul,’ saying that the media was acting in a ‘sexist’ fashion.

She told press, “I kept thinking to myself, ‘God, if this was just like George Clooney or any of the other [Obama] surrogates or supporters, there wouldn’t be any question about it. Nobody would even talk about it. It seemed to me to be like a product of extreme sexism.”
