Saturday, June 02, 2007 Sarah Jessica Parker Talks About Life After Sex
After spending years of her professional life playing fashion writer Carrie Bradshaw on HBO’s ‘Sex and the City’, Sarah Jessica Parker has now found her niche in a new line of work. Not straying too far from her role on the show, Sarah has made her entrance into the world of fashion with the launch of a new clothing line called ‘Bitten’. The new digs are said to be a trendy yet low-cost line, being sold at budget retail chain Steve & Barry’s. “We really want women to have money left over to live, money to pay the utilities,” SJP told People magaine. “Your shirt should not cost more than the groceries is the basic idea.” Also worth mentioning, there have been rumors of a possible “Sex and the City” movie in the making. Sarah recently spoke with Access Hollywood in regards to the possibility of the new flick. “I don’t know,” she said when asked about the possibility of the film. “I don’t know if we have it or not. I’m not being cagey. I was hopeful the first time; I will remain hopeful this time around as we all ponder it.” “I would love nothing more than to be out on those streets, right (at) this time of day, with that group of people and someone shouting out ‘action,’ but we’ll see,” she said. “You know it is part of the decision that everyone else wants to make.” So it seems that SJP is on board and ready to go, but nothing is official just yet. We’ll be sure to keep you up to date if the movie deal goes through. Until then, enjoy the pictures of Sarah at a London hotel on Friday (June 1).
