Sarah Jessica Parker Poses For Annie Leibovitz

Gearing up for press duties associated with the highly anticipated May 30th release of Sex and the City: The Movie, Sarah Jessica Parker found herself posing for famed photographer Annie Leibovitz in NYC earlier today (March 5).

Accompanied by SATC co-star Chris Noth (Mr Big), the Carrie Bradshaw actress made her way to the 5th Avenue set, looking lovely for what will soon become a Vogue magazine spread.

And while Sex and the City may very well be the biggest thing this summer, another new Parker movie “has been scrapped after the finished project failed to find a distributor.”

According to press reports, “The Sex And The City star shot Spinning Into Butter with Miranda Richardson and Beau Bridges, in which she plays a college dean dealing with a race hate crime on campus. The movie wrapped and was due to be released in 2007, but was hit by delay after delay as producers struggled to get it into theaters.”

Of the situation, Sarah Jessica tells, “It’s in that purgatory that many movies find themselves. One enters these endeavors with the best of intentions, but sometimes they don’t work out.”
