Samantha Ronson Spins for H&M

They’re one of the hottest, trendiest, and most affordable labels out there these days. And for the Grand Opening of the new H&M store in downtown Montreal, Samantha Ronson was hired to cover the turntables.

Seen sans Lindsay Lohan, Miss Ronson wore her usual band t-shirt and trousers with her white fedora as she delighted the shoppers at the new boutique, posing for a few paparazzi shots along the way.

Sam recently told press that when it comes to her relationship with LiLo, she’s keeping tight-lipped. “I stay away from the tabloids. I’m not going to talk about Lindsay because she’s my friend, you know? She’s great. She’s also 22 years old. I think people forget that. With the Internet the way it is, one second we’re enemies, one second we’re best friends, one second we’re lovers, and then we’re broken up.”

There has also been talk of Lohan converting from Catholicism to Judaism for Ronson. “Sam’s family is Jewish. Lindsay has learned a lot about Judaism from Sam and admires its beliefs.”

However, a source close to Lindsay says it’s just another fad. “Two years ago it was Kabbalah. Last year it was Alcoholics Anonymous. She was into ‘peace’ for a while. Whatever is of the moment, that’s Lindsay. But the one thing it does show is her commitment to Sam. She could be any religion and Lindsay would be open to it.”
