Salma Hayek Breaks It Off with Fiancé

We’ve been seeing an awful lot of her without her man, and now we know why - Salma Hayek has called off her engagement to fiancé/babydaddy Francois-Henri Pinault.

And Hayek’s people are keeping pretty tight-lipped about the whole ordeal.  Her rep announced, “We are sad to announce the engagement of Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault has been canceled.  There will be no further comment.”

There were warning signs back in April when the “Desperado” actress acted very passé when asked about a wedding date.  She said, “Do I think we are going to get married? Probably. Will it make a difference? I hope not.”

But all may not be lost.  Salma recently told press, “You want to grow old with someone, you want to have a partner and to have children — we have all those things.  Some people need the commitment. Maybe we’ll just make the party!”
