Ryan Seacrest Wants Stalker Order Extension
Over the past year, celebrities have been dealing with scary situations with stalkers - including Ryan Seacrest.
Seacrest’s attorney will appear in court Tuesday (November 17) for an extension of a stay away order against the man who has been charged with stalking the host.
On October 30th, a LA judge gave the E! star a temporary restraining order against Chidi Benjamin Uzomah Jr that forced him to stay at least 100 yards from Seacrest, his home and his workplace.
Uzomah is being charged with stalking “on or between” September 15 and October 30 and attempting to disobey a court order on October 2 and October 30.
Uzomah was arrested on October 30 at the E! Building where Seacrest tapes his show , showing up to the building asking for Seacrest and showing a knife.
He is charged with one felony count of stalking and two misdemeanor counts of attempted disobeying of a court order.
The stalker has already been convicted of three misdemeanor counts after attacking a security guard at the hospital in Orange County. He has pleaded guilty to the three and place on three years probation, which includes keeping far away from Seacrest.
