Running Scared: Cameron Diaz
Cameron Diaz had quite the scare during a day out shopping in NYC earlier this week. Apparently, the incident culminated with the ‘Shrek’ star running and screaming from paparazzi after they caught her off guard.
Diaz was at a NY fashion and lifestyle emporium called Lounge, when “a group of photographers snuck in the rear entrance and surrounded her.”
A Page Six source claimed: “She was enjoying a peaceful day of shopping for some new summer dresses, jewelry and shoes when they surrounded her. Cameron totally freaked out, screamed and dropped the items she was going to buy and was chased through the store. She was running full speed.”
The fact that Cameron had a run-in with the paparazzi isn’t that surprising. She and ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake had to pay out an undisclosed settlement to photographer Saul Lazo, after he claimed they had harassed him. Lazo alleged that Diaz beat and threatened him, taking his camera when he tried to snap shots of the couple.
At least with the latest incident, Diaz’s reaction has seen progress… after all, it’s better to run and scream than beat and steal.
