Rufus Wainwright; No Fan of Beyonce
If you’re going to see Beyonce Knowles in concert, and you have an extra ticket, don’t invite Rufus Wainwright. You’ll get an emphatic “NO!”
The Canadian-American gay pop icon has been blasting the Bootylicious singer in the press recently. He openly calls her one of the worst performers making hit singles because her music is thoughtless.
"I’m really sick of Beyonce. All of her songs are formulaic and produced in a way that’s utterly mesmerising in the basest way,” Wainwright told press.
“There’s no enlightenment. Like most mainstream pop these days, it’s more of a scientific experiment than an artistic experience. I’m scared of what young people are being force-fed. I’m sick of trash culture,” he announced.
Rufus just recently released his latest album “Release the Stars” to rave reviews and cult acclaim.

the dude needs publicity for his album what better way to get it..but say bad stuff about the hardest working girl in show biz...she is successful and got the accolades to show for it.
i dont like rufus music...dead pple even dont wanna listen to that crap...dont worry rufus...one of ur songs will get to number 1 someday..ha keep dreaming…

d gay dude is worried...even moregay pple like her music than his boring trash....i hate it pple try to sound intelligent and fail miserably at it… we would rather have her “formulaic” hits than rufus’ no hits

I just think personally it’s unfair for one artist to criticize on another’s artistic journey… he has not taken her path.. it’s unfair for him to judge her… that’s his opinion and it’s fair and there are those who disagree and those who agree… make decisions for yourself don’t go based on what rufus is saying, he too is an amazing artist in his own right… Beyonce is a hardworking girl and you have to give credit. It only takes a shallow man to speak those words…

She doesn’t have an artistic journey. Her music is utter crap. It’s repetitive phrasing with basic chord patterns. She takes no chances- and she doesn’t stand out as a singer. I can pick up the harmonics used to strengthen her voice- and what voice she has is common high school choir.
She is no artist. And like most pop artists she got big because she was packaged as a sex symbol.
Sorry- I’ll watch porn if I want to watch a talentless bimbo. I prefer listening to musicicans who actually tell a story and have talent.

i love rufus and i dislike beyonce. and i think he’s totally right. beyonce is sh*t music.
