Rosario Dawson: I’m No Alkie!
It’s gotta be hard to live life in the public eye. And Rosario Dawson is starting to worry that her active social calendar may lead others to believe that she’s an alcoholic. But she insists that she’s not.
“I do like a drink on occasions. I’m not much of a liquor person, I’ll just drink beer or wine all day, but I don’t want people to think I’m an alcoholic,” Rosario told press.
The Sin City babe cites her Hollywood peers as a factor for her love of libations.
“I learned to knock it back professionally when I was shooting ‘Alexander’. Those guys can drink!” Duh! With a cast that includes known party boy Colin Farrell, it’s no wonder that she took to the bottle.
The “Rent” star detailed for press her Sunday ritual, which consists of going to an exercise class, then drinking beer all day at her favorite bar with friends and applauding as the sun goes down. “That’s how I celebrate Sunday.”
And speaking of celebrations, Rosario was busy upholding her party-girl image at a Diesel Party held last week (June 21). In this instance, her drinking buddy happens to be Asia Argento (an Italian actress/director). Enjoy!
