Robin Wright Files for Divorce from Sean Penn
They tried their best to make things work to no avail, and now Robin Wright Penn has opted to file for divorce from her actor husband Sean Penn.
According to People magazine reports, Mrs Penn filed the paperwork to legally end the couples’ marriage in Marin County on Wednesday (August 12).
The report adds that “Wright Penn’s filing states that both parties have already agreed to [shared] custody over their minor son, Hopper Jack, 16, and that the estranged couple have already agreed to division of all property.”
Having been married since `1996, the pair first were thought to be splitting back in May - but held out hope that things would work out for the best.
Now, Robin has said that there’s no chance that the two will remain together, saying, “I hit that crossroad a while ago. I know what I don’t want."
