Robert Goulet Passes Away At Age 73

Believe it or not, Will Ferrell won’t be doing any Robert Goulet impressions for awhile.  The famous singer/actor died yesterday at age 73.

Goulet was best known for his lounge act, having become a fixture in the Las Vegas scene.  He rose to fame with his role in the 1960 Broadway musical “Camelot” and has been acting and singing ever since.

In recent years, comedian/actor Will Ferrell brought the “Goulet” name back into the forefront of pop culture with his hysterical depiction of Robert on Saturday Night Live.

Goulet was diagnosed with interstitial pulmonary fibrosis after being rushed to the hospital late last month.  He was awaiting a lung transplant when he finally died yesterday.
