Rihanna’s Purplicious Paris Fashion Week
Continuing on with her fashion Friday, Rihanna headed over to the Sonia Rykiel Fall Winter 2008/09 fashion show, where she grabbed a front row seat.
Standing out in bright purple garb, accessorized with a yellow handbag and hoop earrings, the Umbrella singer enjoyed her second helping of style after attending the Chanel show earlier in the day.
On another front, the local tourism ministry of Barbados is excited to be working with the Grammy award-winning singing sensation in an effort to “further promote Barbados as a quality tourist destination.”
“I’m in constant discussion, at the moment, along with the BTA (Barbados Tourism Authority) and with her management team, and the point that they keep making is that she is keen to work with us,” Tourism Minister Richard Sealy told The Barbados Advocate.
“The specifics are being worked out, but she definitely will feature prominently in our efforts to market Barbados and this is something that she is willing to do. So we look forward to the future as well. Barbados will be promoted. It’s a quality tourist destination and we have a quality entertainer of international repute who will be promoting us, so I think it is wonderful. It’s a perfect combination, so we are actively working with her,” Sealy added.
