Rihanna: Da Silvano Damsel
Out enjoying what was a lovely evening, Rihanna went to dinner at Da Silvano in New York City on Wednesday night (July 29).
Looking gorgeous in an all black ensemble, the Barbadian beauty was escorted out of the popular Big Apple eatery following her nighttime meal.
Meanwhile, the Chris Brown and Rihanna drama continues –as Rihanna is “in shock” after Brown decided to make an online video apology.
A friend of the singer says that Brown’s choice to make a public apology for forgiveness of the assault that took place back in February was selfish and hurtful. “She’s in total shock,” explained the friend. “It was like he gave her another blow, albeit one of a different kind.”
Rihanna had been keeping the situation very private and out of the public. “All she knows it that it’s in the news again and that’s the one thing she didn’t want,” continued the source. “She’s been trying to put it behind her and move on as fast as possible. They spoke earlier last week and Chris made no mention of any public statement then.”
And without telling Rihanna in advance, many are beginning to question his motives for the apology. “She wishes he’d given her at least a heads-up about it. But that’s Chris, always thinking of himself first and forgetting how this would impact on her.”
Another source explains, “In the video he says he’s apologized to Rihanna privately many times and that’s true. So we’re questioning what this video is really for. It’s clearly something he’s done for his public image. It’s convenient that he’s waited until his new albums coming out.”
