Rihanna and Akon Do Cipriani For Charity

Yesterday was another busy day for Barbadian singer Rihanna, with stops at MTV Studios and a concert at Cipriani Wall Street on the agenda.

Recently nominated for the American Music Awards Female R & B artist of the year, the 19-year-old “Umbrella” singer spent a bit of time filming an episode the Total Request Live, for which she brought her new puppy along.

Rihanna also took the time to attend the 2007 Cipriani Wall Street concert series with “Smack That” singer Akon.

And it was for a good cause, as the Cipriani series, which brings in the biggest artists from around the world, benefits The United Nations Children’s Fund and The Sarah Ferguson Foundation.
